Florida, también llamada La Florida, es un estado situado en la región Sur de los Estados Unidos. Limita al oeste con el golfo de México, al norte con Alabama y Georgia y al este con el océano Atlántico. Con más de 20,2 millones de habitantes en 2015, es el tercer estado más poblado del país y con 170 304 kilómetros cuadrados, es el vigésimo segundo estado por superficie.
