El backgammon (en España conocido popularmente como tablas reales o chaquete) es un juego de mesa para dos jugadores que aúna el azar con profundos conocimientos estratégicos. El objetivo es conseguir sacar las 15 fichas del tablero antes que el jugador rival. Actualmente está extendido en prácticamente todo el mundo.
